The 4th annual Winter Wonder Ride was held on Saturday, December 14, 2015. Riders were encouraged to ride in reindeer themed attire as we hosted our biggest event to date. Over 1,2000 riders launched from beautiful Curtis Hixon Park to enjoy a scenic bike ride through the heart of downtown Tampa, cruised along the waters of bayshore, and back again.
Riders were then greeted with delicious food options from local vendors and danced the night away at our now famous post-ride celebration. All proceeds from this event went towards the purchase of bicycles that were delivered to foster kids throughout the Tampa Bay area.
The 3rd annual Winter Wonder Ride was held on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Our biggest ride yet began in Tampa’s historic Hyde Park Village and through scenic Bayshore Blvd. Riders were escorted by police, fire trucks, and city officials.
Ticket purchase Included a commemorative 2013 onbikes winter wonder ride t-shirt, a swag bag, and entrance to the post-ride celebration featuring drinks, local food vendors, an assortment of family friend activities and live entertainment! All proceeds from this event went towards the purchase of bicycles that were delivered to foster kids throughout the Tampa Bay area.
The 2nd annual Winter Wonder Ride was held on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Riders gathered on Davis Island at Fountain Square andtook a scenic route off the island to experience the best of Tampa’s residential Christmas light displays along Bayshore Blvd.
The ride concluded back at Fountain Square, wherethey were greeted with Hot Cocoa, S’mores, delicious food, and live entertainment. All proceeds from this event went towards the purchase of bicycles that were delivered to foster kids throughout the Tampa Bay area.
On Saturday, July 28, 2012, we gathered at Redington Beach and took riders through local hot spots, stopped off at St Johns Pass for a lunch break, and wrapped the ride at the Post Card Inn on St Pete beach.
Riders spent the rest of the day on the beach playing volleyball, corn hole, and enjoying the pool. All proceeds from this event went towards the purchase of bicycles that were delivered to foster kids throughout the Tampa Bay area.
On Saturday, December 10, 2011, we once again took riders through landmark Ybor City; only this time we presented a holiday theme and cruised through Ybor’s residential areas in search of Christmas lights. Upon returning to the meeting point, riders were greeted with hot chocolate, s’mores, and and holiday themed festivities featuring a DJ and Karaoke.
The first 300 people to register received a special onbikes holiday logo swag bag. All proceeds from this event went towards the purchase of bicycles that were delivered to foster kids throughout the Tampa Bay area on Christmas Eve.
Ticket holders received a commemorative event t-shirt.
Our inaugural ride took place Sunday, August 28, 2011. Riders gathered near the historic Colombia restaurant. The route took riders through Tampa’s landmark Ybor city, downtown Tampa, the city riverwalk, and finished at the cruise launch point in the Channel District.
Each rider received a commemorative t-shirt, complimentary appetizers, and discounted beverages at establishments along the way. All proceeds from this event benefited the Dream Center of Tampa, for the purchase of bikes for children.
